Facebook signs up for Reuters Fact Check service
Reuters announced today that the newly formed Reuters Fact Check unit and online blog will be paid by Facebook to identify and limit the spread of fake news and misinformation on the social media website. A four-person team will review user posts and headlines from Facebook and update the Reuters Fact Check blog, flagging fake news and letting Facebook limit its spread in users' feeds.
