France shuts down Louvre museum due to coronavirus fears
Following the French government's announcement restricting indoor gatherings of more than 5,000 people and other outdoor gatherings, resulting in the cancellation of Paris' half-marathon, the staff in charge of the Louvre have also closed their doors to visitors. The Paris Agricultural fair and a fireworks show in the city of Nice have also been canceled due to coronavirus fears.
