India to buy new Russian missile defense system
India has entered into a contract with Russia to buy its new S-400 anti-aircraft missiles. The contract will be completed by 2025 and India has already made an advance payment of $800 million and the deal is worth $5 billion in total. An Indian defense analyst has said that the US is unlikely to apply sanctions on India for the purchase.
