American multinational corporation and technology company Intel confirmed today that the company is acquiring an Israeli transportation and mobility startup Moovit in order to grow its automotive division. Moovit analyses urban traffic patterns and provides transportation recommendations with a specific focus on public transit. Intel is paying around $840 million for the startup
