Israel and Sudan to begin cooperating for the first time ever

After a meeting with Sudan's leaders, Israel's Prime Minister has announced that both countries will normalize their relationship with each other. The two have been at odds ever since 1967, with Sudan refusing to even recognize Israel as an independent state. The Palestinian authorities called this meeting a 'stab in the back'.

Israel gets official approval to fly commercial planes over Sudan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that Israeli commercial planes can now overfly Sudan. This announcement came as a result of talks between Netanyahu and Sudan’s military head of state, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. Israel previously considered Sudan a security threat since but is on its way to normalize relations with the country.
