Oldest PM in the world Mahathir Muhammad will resign next year
Malaysian prime minster Mahathir Muhammad, the oldest prime minister in the world at 94 years of age, has announced that he will be stepping down from his position next year. He has chosen Anwar Ibrahim as his successor, but has repeatedly delayed handing over power since the 2018 elections, citing the country needed him to steer it out of financial troubles first.

Poland’s Duda re-elected in Presidential vote
Incumbent Polish President Andrzej Duda has narrowly beaten challenger Rafal Trzaskowski in Sunday's presidential vote. The National Electoral Commission said Mr. Duda had won 51.2% of the votes. It is Poland's slimmest presidential election victory since the end of communism in 1989. Singapore’s ruling party PAP wins 83 out of 93 seats in the parliament
Singapore’s ruling People’s Action Party extended its unbroken rule in Friday’s election, but its vote share slipped near a record low as the main opposition party secured 10 seats, the most ever held by any opposition party.
