Juan Guaido's opposition party plans for countrywide protests in Venezuela on Sunday calling for the resignation of President Nicolas Maduro, gaining encouragement after protests against voter fraud in neighboring Bolivia succeeded in removing President Morales, an ally of Maduro. Despite the protests, Maduro has refused to yield, claiming Guaido to be a US puppet, and blames US sanctions for the economic upheaval.
