Designer Yuri Suzuki has created a small cheap machine that will allow users to create their own vinyl records at home. 'The Easy Record Maker' will be able to create 5-inch records that unfortunately will not be able to match the impeccable sound of standard vinyl records. He hopes to introduce a younger generation to the joys of vinyl.

Critics say the program is encouraging users to dispose of operational, resalable speakers and is contributing to wastefulness rather than reducing it.
