System Shock 3 likely to never be released due to mass layoffs
Otherside Entertainment has reportedly fired the team of developers that were working on System Shock 3, leaving the future of the project up in the air. The company originally planned to self publish the game after no other publishers agreed to fund the project. Although the game did get a pre-Alpha teaser last year.

Epic Games temporarily removes Pandemic from list of free games
Digital board games developer Asmodee Games had recently announced that three of its new games would be released on the Epic Games Store for free: Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne and Pandemic, but in a new statement Epic Games has stated that Pandemic will no longer be included in the free games offered, but will be offered for free in a later promotion.

Sims to get next gen installment in near future
Sims 4, a six-year-old massively popular game with around 20 million players worldwide, will be getting a next-generation installment according to EA CEO Andrew Wilson. He went on to say that the next Sims game will have a larger focus on social interaction and competition and will have online game modes.
