The UK implements Unexplained Wealth seizure law for the first time

In the first seen application of the UK's Unexplained Wealth seizure law, Zamira Hajiyeva's appeal against the government's seizure of her wealth has been denied in the Court of Appeals, which has ruled that she and her husband are required to explain how they amassed enough wealth to be able to purchase a luxurious mansion near Harrod's and a golf course in Berkshire, a total expenditure of 16 million GBP.
