Turkish plan to reopen tourism

Tourism accounts for around 12% of the Turkish economy as more than 2.5 million workers are associated with the industry. Last year, 51.8 million visitors visited Turkey. The Coronavirus pandemic has hit the Turkish economy hard as the number of tourists dropped significantly in 2020. Turkey plans to reopen the tourism sector by implementing key rules like maximum hotel occupancy at 60%, temperature checking of guests, disinfection and mandatory masks
