Uber Eats expands grocery deliveries as coronavirus crisis deepens
Uber Eats, the food delivery division of the ride-hailing giant Uber, has revealed that it is expanding its grocery delivery capabilities amid the worsening coronavirus crisis, which is seeing lockdowns continue in most countries. Eats is collaborating with supermarket giant Carrefour in France and the Galp service station chain in Spain to offer customers 30-minute delivery of essential food items, medical supplies and cleaning products.
