Uber threatened with ban in Germany, commits to making changes

Uber might be facing a ban in Germany after courts ruled its collaboration with certain private hire vehicle companies was in violation of German law. These companies violated German law by allowing drivers to wait in streets after dropping off rides, instead of returning to their company's base. Uber has assured the court that it will make the necessary changes to comply with local laws.
