Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn clashed over Brexit in the first TV debate for the upcoming General Elections on December 12. Both leaders played safely over key political issues as the audience remained skeptical about their answers. Brexit remained the main issue. Mr. Johnson promised to "end this national misery" while Mr. Corbyn said Labour would "get Brexit sorted by giving you, the people, the final say"
