US ambassador set to return to Bolivia after 12 years

For the first time since leftist Bolivian leader Evo Morales expelled the United State's ambassador from the country in 2008, blaming the US for anti-government protests, the US ambassador is set to return to the country following Morales' ousting earlier in the year. The move was welcomed by Bolivia's interim president Jeanine Anez, who has stated she wants relations between the two countries to strengthen under her leadership.
