US House of Representatives votes to impeach President Trump

In a historic vote held in the United States House of Representatives, the resolution to impeach president Donald Trump for abuse of power was passed with a final tally of 230 yeas and 197 nays, making Trump the third US president to be impeached. The vote was split along party lines, with all except one Republican representative voting nay on the resolution.
