What lessons the world can learn from China?

On April 8, China lifted its 76-day lockdown of Wuhan, with trains and flights resumed and highways reopened. The quick containment of COVID-19 in China is impressive and sets an example for other countries. Aggressive public health interventions, such as early detection of cases, contact tracing, shelter-hospitals and population behavioral change, contributed enormously to containing the epidemic. Staggered relaxation of physical distancing measures were also effective in reducing infections.
