The Board of Control for Cricket in India is soon to inaugurate the world's largest cricket stadium in the city of Motera in Gujarat, named the Sardar Patel Stadium after the iconic freedom fighter. At a seating capacity of 110,000, the stadium will greatly surpass the capacity of the current record holder, Australia's Melbourne Cricket Stadium, which can accommodate 90,000.
