Colombia shuts borders, imposes curfew to curb mass protests

The wave of mass protests and civil unrest that has gripped the rest of South America has now come to Colombia, which has been relatively stable compared to its neighbors. The government of Ivan Duque has steadily declined in popularity since his election last year, and tens of thousands are expected to join the call for protests against his government.
