With the confirmation of the first man in Brazil to have contracted coronavirus, the infection has now spread to every continent on Earth except Antarctica, with 78,064 confirmed cases in China alone and 2,715 confirmed mortalities due to the coronavirus. While there is only one confirmed case in Africa, experts suggest there may be many more that have gone undetected, while North America has so far avoided coronavirus mortalities.
