Democratic nomination race thins as three candidates drop out

With Democratic nomination candidates Colorado Senator Michael Bennett and former Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick joining tech entrepreneur Andrew Yang in withdrawing from the race to win the Democratic nomination for the 2020 presidential elections, three candidates have now ended their campaigns, leaving only eight candidates still in the running led by New Hampshire primary winner Bernie Sanders, and Mayor Pete Buttigieg in second place.
