Djokovic knocks injured Federer out of Australian Open

Austrian world number two Novak Djokovic, 32-year-old defending champion at the Australian Open, defeated Swiss legend Roger Federer 7-6 6-4 6-3 in the tournament's semi-final. Federer, now 38 years old and suffering from a groin injury sustained in his last match, started off strong with a commanding 4-1 and 40-0 lead, with Djokovic making an explosive comeback to achieve victory against the all-time record holder for most Grand Slam wins.
