Europe bans Facebook Dating feature

After Facebook announced its new dating feature for users in mid-2018, it went on to test the product in Colombia and gradually started adding other countries to the roster, facing a 5 billion USD fine for its US launch when investigators found severe privacy lapses. Now its dating feature launch in Europe has also been blocked after Facebook failed to comply with scheduled privacy checks in the required time period.
