Foreign exchange firm Travelex hacked, held to ransom

A cyber crime group known as REvil and also Sodinokibi launched an attack against UK foreign exchange company Travelex on New Year's Eve, forcing Travelex to take its systems offline and conduct operations with pen and paper. The group claims to have downloaded 5 GB of user data from Travelex's servers over six months, and have demanded 6 million USD as ransom.
