Netflix announces viewership numbers for Scorcese's The Irishman

Martin Scorcese's latest mafia thriller "The Irishman" was released on Netflix on November 27 after being out in cinemas for three weeks. According to Netflix, the movie garnered 26 million viewers in its first week, lower than Sandra Bullock's Bird Box at 45 million, and also lower than the 30.9 million who watched Adam Sandler's comedy Murder Mystery, co-starring Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
