Netflix has started buying up theaters
Netflix has announced that it has signed an extended lease for New York's Paris theater in order to have screenings and premieres for all of its original content. The cinema was originally opened in 1948 and only showed French films but closed down in August 2019, until Netflix reopened it to show Noah Baumbach’s “Marriage Story".
