Epic Games is offering Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun for free for one day only as part of its holiday promotion 12 Days of Free Games. Shadow Tactics is a top-down stealth game in the vein of the classic stealth games Commandos and Desperados, except it places players in charge of a squad of assassins during the Edo-period in Japan.

Epic Games is offering World War Z for free this week

World War Z imitates the movie's dynamic of mindless zombies piling up to overcome obstacles against the player.

New Pathfinder game raises $2 million on Kickstarter
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous has managed to raise around $2 million in funding on Kickstarter. The game will be a top-down adventure RPG that will use the same systems as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, the previous game in the series. Although Kingmaker was only able to raise $800,000 on Kickstarter around 3 years ago.
