Sony releases trailer for Resident Evil 3 remake

At its last State of Play event in 2019, Sony released the trailer for its remake of Capcom's 1999 Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, with the game now available for pre-order. The remake is slated for an April 2020 release, and will also feature Sony's asymmetric 1v4 multiplayer Resident Evil Resistance.

Microsoft announces Halo Infinite will be coming to the Xbox soon

Microsoft has announced the next game in the wildly popular Halo franchise, Halo Infinite will be released in late 2020 on its new family of Xbox consoles, the Series X, though the game will still be playable on the previous generations of Xbox. Like previous games in the Halo franchise, Infinite will feature the classic split-screen multiplayer co-op that the game first became known for.

Guilty Gear Strive will be made available in Japanese aracades

Due to the continuing massive popularity of arcades in Japan, developers have announced that Guilty Gear Strive, a cult favorite game that aims to deconstruct the fighting game genre, will be receiving an arcade release too. However, given the rarity of arcades outside of Japan, most users will still be playing the game upon its PlayStation 4 release later in the year.

E3 to go without any official Sony presence for second year in a row

Sony has announced that it will not be participating in this year's E3 despite the fact that they are launching their next-generation console this year. The company said E3's vision does not fit the goals that it has for 2020. Sony, however, aspires to participate in many of consumer events all over the world.
