US denies rumors that troops are being withdrawn from South Korea

U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper has said that he is not aware of any plans to remove 4,000 US troops from South Korea and that all the rumors that have been floating online are either incorrect or exaggerated. He went on to say that South Korea is an ally and the US would not threaten an ally over the failure of cost-sharing talks.
