US sees the largest unemployment spike in history

Unemployment claims in the US, which had already far surpassed the historic record with 3.28 million workers filing for unemployment benefits in a single week, have now skyrocketed to 6.65 million last week who filed for unemployment benefits. According to William Rodgers, former head of the US Department of Labor, unemployment in the US has gone from 3.5 to 17 percent in a matter of two weeks.
