Vince Carter becomes the only NBA player in history to play in four decades
Atlanta Hawks player Vince Carter, at 42 years old, played a game against the Indiana Pacers to become the only player in NBA history whose basketball career has lasted four decades. Carter debuted for the Hawks in 1999, and went on to play in the team every decade since. Carter is also the longest tenured NBA player with 22 seasons under his belt.
