Zoom shelves development to address privacy issues
Eric Yuan, the founder and CEO of video conferencing app Zoom, which has shot to 200 million daily active users amid the coronavirus pandemic, has announced that the company will be putting roll-out of new features on hold after Zoom received widespread criticism over its treatment of user privacy and security. Yuan says the company will instead focus on fixing the issues users are facing with the software.
