'Love Island' host dies of suicide

Caroline Flack, the ex-host of the popular reality show 'Love Island' has died on Saturday in London. She died at the age of 40 and the death has been ruled as a suicide. She was removed from her position as host in December after she was charged with assault due to an episode involving her boyfriend.

The US army is using video games to recruit more teenagers and it may be working

The US army has made its own esports team made up entirely of enlisted soldiers who have also been trained to talk to potential recruits. This is a new tactic they are using to appeal to 17-24-year-olds in order to convince them to volunteer to join. The army's recruitment numbers have only gone up since the initiative began.

70 more cases of Coronavirus found on Japanese cruise ship

70 more people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus on the cruise ship that is still docked off the coast of Japan. The total number of cases onboard has now reached 355 as the ship remains in quarantine. The US has decided to evacuate its citizens from the ship as the evacuation process will start by Sunday evening.

20-year-old pole vaulter Armand Duplantis has just broken a world record that he himself set just last weekend in Poland. He broke the record by clearing 6.18 meters at the Indoor Grand Prix in Glasgow, with the previous record sitting at 6.17 meters. The athlete has been representing Sweden in these tournaments.
