Amazon to pay quarantined staff creates relief fund
American online retail giant Amazon has joined Uber, Salesforce, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Apple in committing to pay workers quarantined due to COVID-19 paid leave for up to two weeks and has established a relief fund with a 25 million USD contribution to benefit its delivery service partners and drivers, as well as contract-basis employees and Amazon Flex participants.
