BuzzFeed plans to layoff 68 employees

According to a memo from BuzzFeed CEO Jonah Peretti, the company plans to furlough 68 employees in an effort to cut the costs. The CEO himself is foregoing pay in these difficult times. Jonah said that the efforts to minimize losses “will no longer be possible without further cuts similar to what we’re doing across other parts of the company.” The layoffs will begin from May 15
