Cards Against Humanity purchases news parody site ClickHole

The popular card game company Cards Against Humanity has announced its acquisition of news parodying website ClickHole from G/O Media, a private equity group whose union recently passed a vote of no confidence in the top management. The amount paid for the all-cash deal has not been released, but CAH founders have stated they will restructure ClickHole as a majority employee-owned company.

Game show app HQ Trivia shuts down

Built by two of the founders of the popular, now-defunct short video sharing platform Vine, HQ Trivia was an app that allowed users to win real money by participating in an online mobile-based game show, answering trivia questions on various subjects. But due to several issues, its userbase fell from a peak of 2.3 million to just 67,000 last month, causing the founders to shut it down.
