Climate change scientist sues the conservative magazine for defamation

The US Supreme Court has allowed a climate-change scientist to continue with his defamation lawsuit against a conservative magazine that compared him to a convicted child molester. The scientist, Michael Mann, is seeking unspecified monetary damages and originally filed the suit in 2012. The magazine has refused to take down their post several times.

UK PM Boris Johnson tests positive for coronavirus

UK's Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced via a Twitter post that he developed mild coronavirus-related symptoms last night, and subsequently has tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. Trump sues Washington Post for opinion piece along with the New York Times

The Trump campaign has filed yet another lawsuit over an opinion piece, this time against the Washington Post. He sued the New York Times six days before he filed this second suit. Both articles alleged that the campaign had improper ties to Russia or North Korea, which Trump strongly denies.
