Death Stranding outshone at Game Awards by Disco Elysium
Hideo Kojima's recently released and much-awaited Death Stranding game was expected to win a record accolades at the annual Game Awards, but only managed to garner three, with the most number of awards (four) going to indie hit Disco Elysium, a detective RPG. The coveted Game of the Year award was won by Activision's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Activision cracks down on all Call of Duty leaks
Activision has not confirmed whether or not Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be getting a battle royale mode, although there have been a number of leaks that suggest that it will be released soon. The company has been shutting down said leaks and has even subpoenaed Reddit to find out who the original leaker was in order to take legal action against them.

Youtube to become a new hub for esports streaming
Activision has announced that it has signed a new multiyear deal with Youtube for the exclusive rights to stream Overwatch League, Call of Duty League and many other high profile competitive gaming events. Twitch previously had the streaming rights for these competitions but that deal has expired and will not be renewed.
