Taika Waititi to direct Netflix version of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'
World-famous director, Taika Waititi, has just signed on to direct an animated version of beloved children's book 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' as well as an entirely new film that will focus on the Oompa Loompas. Netflix acquired the rights to adapt this book in 2018 and will likely adapt other Roald Dahl works in the future.
