Several upsets occurred in the latest round of the Australian Open, with 38-year-old 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams losing in three sets to her world number 29 and 29-year-old opponent Wang Qiang, and 15-year-old US tennis prodigy Coco Gauff knocking out Naomi Osaka, one of the world's top-ranked players, to reach the last 16 of the tournament.
