Apple-Google coronavirus API sees weak plan & criticisms in UK

Even without the UK’s planned compromise, the idea of this type of contact tracing has come under criticism from a University of Cambridge computing professor. The API is designed to allow apps to detect when you have been in close proximity to someone who subsequently tested positive for COVID-19, but a severe lack of testing in the UK means that the NHS version will adopt a weak compromise.

Players in countries such as Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Singapore are furious with Sony after they mistakenly purchased the Chinese/Korean language version of the title, rather than the English/Japanese edition advertised.
Our guess is that it will just give all digital owners of the game access to both versions, so they can download their preferred language.
