Instagram to remove IGTV button

Facebook-owned Instagram has announced plans to remove the IGTV button, which appeared in the top-right corner of the app's homescreen. Facebook intended IGTV as a long-form video platform to rival apps like Youtube and TikTok, but very few of the billion Instagram users have been reported to use it, with even fewer downloading the standalone IGTV app.
