Sudan's interim government has, to much rejoicing, repealed a law instated by the previous 30-year dictatorial regime of President Omar al-Bashir and his National Congress Party, which gave authorities control over the way women were allowed to dress and behave in public, including authority over employment and clauses prohibiting women from wearing pants in public.
