Sakharov Prize awarded to Ukrainian filmmaker

Oleg Sentsov, a Ukrainian filmmaker imprisoned by Russia on charges of terrorism, has been released and has finally been able to collect the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, accorded to him last year. The Sakharov Prize is Europe's most prestigious honor for those who have defied brutal regimes in defense of human rights.
